APPLICATION
The 260 is normally located in the vapour return extractor fitting of an underground storage tank.
When the UST is filled to a predetermined level, the ball float rises to seat against the body. Vapour flow from the UST is restricted and the delivery flow rate is dramatically reduced. This flow restriction is a warning to the transfer operator so that he may take action to stop the delivery process.
The 260X multi-outlet extractor fitting allows the entire float valve assembly to be removed from underground storage tanks for testing purposes.
FEATURES
PLEASE NOTE: We recommend the Float Vent Valve not be used as an overfill protection device. Instead its primary function is that of a flow restriction device.
