In 1954 the name was changed to W.J. Treloar and Sons Pty Ltd. Three years later a significant development occurred with the signing of an exclusive manufacturing licence to the OPW Corporation, USA (now A Division of Dover Corporation, New York).

In 1974 W.J. Treloar & Sons Pty Ltd, relocated its manufacturing division to Rutherford, 170 km north of Sydney. This was facilitated by assistance from the NSW State Government and would enable the company to streamline, consolidate, and grow its foundry and engineering expertise and the business as a whole.

Treloar today is a major force in specialised fluid handling products and services catering to the chemical, petroleum and process industries.

Treloar's proven products and services are used in Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and Europe.

The company's strength lies in its resources, technical standard and long-term commitment to quality having achieved Australian AS/NZS ISO9001:2000 certification on the 19th of September, 2003.
