Treloar operates one of the largest non-ferrous foundries in NSW.
Established in 1927, Treloar is a major provider of foundry solutions. The company employs over sixty people involved in a wide range of skills associated with various aspects of manufacturing. By working closely with our customers, Treloar is capable of providing a wide range of products. With an engineering department offering computer aided 3-D design and innovative solutions, Treloar is able to meet demanding specifications. The facility offers in-house patternmaking and associated CNC machines to meet the individual design requirements of clients. Accreditation to
ISO 9001:2000 recognises Treloar’s ongoing dedication to quality and excellence through the manufacturing capability and commitment to customer service.
Casting Capacity
Treloar is capable of casting and machining a wide range of shapes and sizes in the non-ferrous alloy range. Casting weights are approximately a maximum of 300 kilograms for copper based alloys like brass/bronze and 80 kilograms for aluminium.
Material certification and mechanical testing are available on request. Heat treatment, anodizing, painting and powder coating can be arranged to suit specific customer needs.

The foundry is set up to handle both high volume production work and small quantity jobbing work.
Environmental
Treloar’s foundry uses 100% recycled ingots in all our products. These ingots meet strict Australian standards for quality, and provide the added and most important benefit of reducing the manufacturing carbon footprint.
We are proud to state that Treloar’s foundry is one of the most environmentally friendly manufacturing facilities in terms of total environmental impact - and the Treloar philosophy is to utilize recycled materials as a preference. Location
Treloar’s foundry is located at Rutherford, near Maitland in the Hunter Region of NSW. This provides easy access to the major industrial base in NSW. We have clients Australia wide and export markets.

Architectural - Other than typical engineering needs, Treloar’s foundry also manufactures product for a diverse variety of architectural uses - signs, outdoor furniture, statues, bollards, phone box cabinets, bar taps - the list goes on. Even the famous and iconic Dog-on-the-Tuckerbox at Gundagai was cast by Treloar. We will meet the needs of all architects and designers.
